Our Answer

A giant snail shell bowl was found near Cincinnati. It was from the Gulf Coast.
How did it get here? We know and we’ll tell you. Did you know that The Hopewell civilization traded a lot? They used rivers to travel and trade. Most of their settlements were near rivers. They traded for materials such as mica, shark's teeth, obsidian, copper, and shells. They traded with others as far as North Dakota to the eastern slopes of the appalachian mountains. They buried the traded treasure in mounds.
